My diet/nutrition this week was…

I did awesome!  Yes I’m going to go ahead and toot my own horn here! *toot*toot*  I have to say that doing this Shaklee 180™ Turnaround Kit is wonderful.  Yes, I still want to eat pizza (and I did but just one slice) and burgers.  But having the smoothee for breakfast, meal bar for lunch and the awesome pomegranate tea and snack bar each day truly does keep me full.  It’s also teaching me that I can be full on 1200-1300 calories a day – I don’t need to sit down with a bag of chips and eat it all!

I burned calories by…

Okay, I did the Shaklee 180™ BURST workouts every day this week and all I can say is – I am sooooo out of shape!  Who know that I could sweat so much and be so sore after only 15 minutes?!?  This week was crazy busy again so I was lucky to get in the BURST workouts.  BUT I know I definitely need to make my workouts a priority now.  I need to increase my fat burning if I really want to lose this weight!  Now to figure out a good time each day for me and actually stick to it!

My weigh-in/measurements this week are…

Well, it’s not what I was hoping for in weight loss this week.  I’m only down 0.4 lbs.  BUT I am happy that I did go down and not up on the scale – so there’s the silver lining!  Seriously though – I really am thankful that the number actually went down again!

Weight loss with the Shaklee 180™ Turnaround Kit

My greatest accomplishment was…

NOT eating pizza left overs with my kiddos!  Yes – I have a serious addiction to pizza.  If I even smell it, I immediately get hungry (even if I have just ate).  So I am super happy with myself that when I fixed the leftovers for my girls and I didn’t even take a tiny taste!  That’s huge for me!

The hardest thing for me to tackle was…

Workouts!  I did the BURST workouts each day, so I at least burned 350 calories.  But I know I should have done more!

My favorite healthy recipe…

Mexican Turkey Burger night!  Okay, I totally forgot to take a picture but they were great!  Just take ground turkey and form it into patties.  Season with a bit of taco seasoning and broil.  Then serve with brown rice, steamed veggies and top with Peach Salsa!  Yum!

Tips and tricks that worked for me…

Tell your kiddos you need to workout every day!  Trust me – they won’t let you off the hook!  Now if I could just get my alarm to actually wake me up in the morning I would be able to get more than just my BURST workouts in.

Goals and plan for next week…

Fitness:  FINALLY add in my 3 mile walks/jog with my girls!!!  I think the weather is getting to a place where I can finally put Boo in the stroller and have Roo run circles around me!  There is just something in me that says “She’s only 7yo – You have to be able to keep up with her!” and I move so much faster!
