Planning, Planning and More Planning

I am in full planning mode here at Homeschoolin Mama, for this coming school year.  I am usually finished by now so I’m getting slightly frustrated with myself.  This summer has had a lot of craziness thrown at my family that has made it VERY difficult for me to stay focused on what I needed to do.

I am a planner, it’s how I’ve always been.  I just function so much better when I have a plan/schedule and I’m sticking to it!  So being behind on this school year planning just may be what makes my head *POP*!

Don’t get me wrong, have been working on it this week!  Sitting on the sofa so I can watch the kiddos!

Planning is one of my favorite part of homeschooling.  I get so excited to see all that we will be exploring and learning in the new year!  But, it can at times, become overwhelming!  I tend to become so focused on it that I start to slack off in most other areas in my home and life (this would be why I haven’t posted much lately too).  That is where I am right now.

So, I am making myself take a break from planning (even though I’m not ready too) and get my house back in order.  Get my finances (I’m the book keeper in our house) in order.  Get my meals planned out again.  And I am NOT allowing myself to pick up a book and plan our school year until I finish these things!  Oh ya, it’s time for showing some Tough Love on myself baby!!!
