10 Things You Should Know About Me

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday post is all about 10 Things You Should Know About ME!!

1. I was homeschooled for the last three years of high school.
2. I wanted to be a back up dancer for Janet and Michael Jackson when I was growing up (and would still do it if she called me today)!
3. I LOVE to see the stripes in the carpeting from the vacuum!  Since having kids I don’t see them as often, but they are the finishing touch to a well cleaned room – AND I LOVE THEM!
4. I absolutely CAN NOT have my food touch!!!!  Oh my goodness, that is one of the many reasons I much rather cook at home than eat out.  You can not have the juice of your veggies touch your other food – it contaminates them!
5. I never liked pink until I had my Little Chix – now my house has been completely over taken by pink (and purple)!
6. I much rather wear jeans and a sweat shirt than a dress – any day!  I have never been a “girly-girl” that was my sister.  I have no idea how I’m the one with super girly girls!
7. I never actually saw myself having kids when I was growing up.  I never really played “Mommy” even.  I was always starting a business:  lemonade stand, made and sold potholders, even created a library with cards to check the books out.  So thankful for God showing me this amazing plan for my life and I am in prayer that His plan is to continue to grow our family!  What a twist!
8. I married my high school sweet heart – my first and only love!  We have been together for over 20 years now!  I feel very fortunate that God brought him into my life at such a young age – he’s my best friend!
9. Since we’ve been married, we have lived in 5 states and 10 homes/apartments!  And YES – we are very tired of moving!!!!  *Update* 6 states and 12 homes/apartments FINAL MOVE – PURCHASED A HOME!
10. I started out homeschooling thinking I would only do it for a few years – like maybe through third grade. The longer I homeschool the more I can’t imagine NOT homeschooling!!!  My kids (my family) are my life!
