Blog Post Organizer: Let’s Get Started!

If you know me, you know that I live by my schedule.  That I am obsessed with charts and feel completely at easy when my life is organized (and I can see it written down).

Okay, so that was me 6 years ago BK (Before Kiddos) and you know what – I really miss that girl!  I still long to see my days check list filled in (and all of it checked off before bed).  I miss knowing what is coming each day and how to plan for it.  I absolutely LOVE my Little Chix but I so want to be that girl again!  So that’s what I’m doing – reintroducing my self to the old me (well actually young me)!

Homeschoolin Mama – meet Organized Girl!!!
www.HomeschoolinMama.com Three Post Series
I thought I would start out by getting my Blog Posts Organized!  These days I have been slacking off some on my blog postings because, well, life just gets crazy and it happens to be one of the first things that slips for me.  So in an effort to keep up with my blogging world, because life isn’t going to stop being crazy any time soon, I created my very own Blog Posted Organizer and I’m sharing it with YOU!
Supplies You Will Need:

Binder (I used a 1″ Binder for now)
5 Tab Dividers
3 Ring Hole Punch
5 Custom Worksheets (I will being supplying these for you right here on Homechoolin Mama)
Colorful Pens – Ya, I LOVE to make everything colorful and bright!

For the next few weeks I will be sharing with you exactly how I have accomplished the task of creating my very own Blog Post Organizer.  Including supplying you with 6 FREE DOWNLOADS!  By the end of this three week series you will have every thing you need to create your own Blog Post Organizer (and I will expect to see some post with lots of pictures about them).  Maybe we should do a link up?
So – are you ready to Organize Your Blog Posts?  Let’s go!
Where do you start you ask?  Well, with some Brainstorming of course!  Okay, confession time – I have these Brainstorming: My Blog Ideas all over my house!  I am always thinking of ideas at the craziest times so I keep these papers stashed away every where in my house and even my car (if I could figure out how to water proof them and still write, I would have one hanging in my shower too)! About once a week, I collect them all up and add each Brainstorming Idea to my master sheet I keep in my NEW Blog Post Organizer.  VUALA – all my crazy Brainstorming is all in one place!
The next step I like to do is figure out a schedule for my post ideas.  I know it may sound weird and out of order but think about it – it’s May and you just came up with a great post idea for your “Back to School Series”.  Wouldn’t you like to “pencil in” where/when you would like to post it?  So scheduling it is!
After printing several of my NEW Weekly {Blogging} Schedule Sheets I go through and mark the Dates on each of them.  Then I sit down with my planner/calendar and fill in any Holiday’s or Events I KNOW I will for sure want to post about.  Then I start laying out when I will post each of my Brainstorming Ideas. You could literally pencil these in but since I am running two blogs, I like to colored code them – purple for Homeschoolin Mama and Orange for One Roll At A Time.  I use the Research for {Next Week} section as a little reminder area of what I may need to research for future posts.  These are just little notes I use for a quick glance at my next week projects.

So this week we have covered Brainstorming: My Blog Ideas and Weekly {Blogging} Schedule (your FREE Printables are just below).  Next Wednesday we will talk about Blog Post Research and Blog Post Drafts.  Then we will be wrapping up this series on Wednesday (May 30th) with Scheduling Social Media and Creating Your Blog Post Organizer.  Each of these weeks will come with their own NEW {FREE} Printables for you to download and use.  You may want to start subscribing to Homeschooin Mama Posts now so you don’t miss out on any Organizing Freebies!
