Top 5 in 2012

2012 was a great year in so many ways for our family.  Sure we had some difficult times too, but looking back I can see how truly blessed we really were.  My husband found a new job that took us to state number 6 to live.  He is loving this new company and new co-workers and can already see a real future here.  There has even been talk of maybe finding a house to BUY in the near future!  What?!?  That hasn’t been spoken since we left Ohio!
I feel like we are finally getting our groove back with our homeschool days in the last month here.  It was a difficult transition for the girls but I have really seen a change in Roo’s eagerness to learn and focus.  Plus Boo is finally starting to understand the difference in school time and play time (mostly for her sister) most days.  (Now if we could just get bed time back to normal again life would be great.)
So, I thought I would take a moment and share what you all read the most here on HomeschoolinMama.com in 2012!  These are the Top 5 in 2012 – posts that YOU read the most!
We had a blast with our Elf on the Shelf this year – he was so ornery!  My girls got up each morning saying “What did Buddy do today?”  Here is my Ultimate Guide to the Elf on the Shelf that helped inspire me and so many other Elf families!

I am in love with our curriculum this year and so are my girls!  This has been several years of tweaking and replacing books and curriculum but this year I feel we may have just nailed it!  You can also see what we’ve used in years past HERE.
This year was our First Annual 31 Days of Thanks!  For 31 days leading up to Thanksgiving, 31 bloggers came together to help spread gratitude – OH! Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman is something I am constantly striving for.  So why wouldn’t I want that for my girls as well?  Each of these series have impacted me personally and I pray it has touched your hearts as well.
