So I decided to make myself a Social Media Schedule! It’s colored coded by day so that I can quickly find the day and then what time to post. Let’s say: I write a post and it goes live on Tuesday. I look at my Scheduling: Social Media and see that Tuesday I will schedule a Tweet and a post on Facebook at 4:00am (the * tells me to post on Facebook). Then Wednesday I will schedule a Tweet only at 4:30am, Thursday I will schedule a Tweet and Facebook post at 5:00am, etc.
Why on earth do I do all of this? For everyone who I’m friends with on Facebook and Twitter! It absolutely drives me crazy when my feed (on either site) is taken over by one person. I don’t like having to dig through all of their posts just to find ANYONE else. Quite honestly, I stop reading any of them. I have even stopped following people when they do this on a regular basis. I love you all and most of what you have to say – but you are not the only person I follow – I want to see everyone not just one! Okay – mini rant over!
This helps me keep each posting (which is basically a small commercial for my blog post) spaced out. If I’ve blogged every day this week no post will ever be closer than 30 minutes to each other and always rotating!
My Scheduling: Social Media page just on the inside of my binder. This way it is always super handy for me to referrence. I suppose one day I won’t need to check it but as of now I still have trouble remembering that I need milk when I’m at the grocery store!
Now it’s just all about getting everything in the order that makes the most sense to me. I like having my current and next week Blogging Weekly Schedule right up front for a quick look as soon as I open my binder. Then the rest of them are in the following tab. Followed by Brainstorming, Research, Posts and a final tab for those posts that have already gone live.
Now you are totally organized and ready for some successful blogging! Why not start with a post about how you created your very on Blog Post Organizer! I would love to see all these printables and how you put them to work. So download away, create your Blog Post Organizer, talk about it on your blog and come right back here and link up with me! Oh, and feel free to use my little Blog Hop icon to show you’ve linked up! Have fun – I can’t wait to see them all!
