{Top 10} Must Have Items For Homeschool

I’m linking up once again with the always awesome iHomeschool Network Mom’s for the Ten Weeks of Top Ten Lists {10 in 10}!  This week we are sharing our Top 10 Must Have Items for Homeschool!
  1. Bible:  I try not to start my day with out my Mama Bible Time.  But we always start our school day in our Bible.  I mean, God is the reason we homeschool and He gives us the ability do it.  I can’t imagine starting our school day without Him!
  2. Color Printer: How in the world would I ever be able to have all of my awesome printables with out my trusty printer.  I should really buy stock in HP with all the ink cartridges I go through.
  3. PENS:  Oh glorious PENS!!!  I must admit that I see pens as a “Must Have” in my life – period!  Homeschooling just makes for a wonderful excuse!
  4. Linking Cubes:  Okay, so technically our linking cubes are for Roo’s Saxon Math (and are an awesome tool for Math).  BUT – they have become a life saver for distracting Boo.  She will sit and try to build things with them for quite a while.  Not to mention all the time she spends pretending she is putting on lipstick with them!
  5. Crayola Crayons:  No this is not a commercial I am just a complete crayon snob!  I will ONLY us Crayola Crayons in my house.  No other crayon has the intense color Crayola has and I LOVE that about them.  Laugh if you will, but test it out for yourself.  If you use cheap crayons – you get cheap color!
  6. iPod:  I use my iPod for more than just Music Class.  We play music during Art Class and some of our curriculum suggests songs for certain lessons, so we’ve created a playlist for each of them.  Basically, we have music playing in our house all day long!  Plus, this Summer we will be using it with our RosettaStone so we don’t lose what we have already learned.
  7. RosettaStone:  This program has been amazing for our homeschool foreign language.  I don’t know any language other than English, so I was scared to even think about teaching one.  But RosettaStone makes it really easy – they do it for you!  So I’m learning Spanish (Latin America) right along side Roo.  Oh – she is doing much better than I am.
  8. Homeschool Magazines:  Home Educating Family and The Old Schoolhouse Magazines are just a couple of the magazines I love and use on a weekly (if not daily) basis.  I find crafts, curriculum and support from each of these amazing magazines.
  9. Homeschool Tracker Plus:  Seriously, I could not homeschool without this program.  Okay, maybe I could, but I would not be half as organized if I tried to go without it.  This Summer I will be giving you a complete break down of this program and how it will truly simplify your life.
  10. My Little Chix:  Well I can’t exactly call myself a Homeschoolin Mama without them now can I.  I sure do love these girls and I am blessed to be able to say I’m their Mama!
Now it’s YOUR turn!
