Mama Moments: New Year ~ New YOU…

Mama Moments     This is our last Mama Moments for 2011.  By the end of this week we will be ringing in the New Year – welcome 2012!  For a lot of us that means we will be putting together our “New Year Resolutions” list this week.  All of the grand plans and goals for ourselves and our families, all jotted down on paper.
     Oh how I love list making!  You know I definitely have my list already going for 2012!  But this did get me thinking:  What if instead of thinking about my New Year Resolutions – I focus on a New Me goal/plan?  Something that will change my life and my family’s for 2012 and beyond!
     Now, I’m not saying NO to all my Resolutions: Losing Weight, Getting Organized, Becoming Healthy, etc.   No, No, NO – those are still my goals for 2012.  In fact, if you would like to join me in a New Year Health and Fitness Plan jump on over to my other blog Changing My Life ~ One Roll at a Time.  I would LOVE to have some Homsechoolin Mama’s join me!
     But my focus for myself, in 2012, is to become the Proverbs 31 Women!  I have been reading through this, overwhelming at times, chapter in Proverbs several times in the last few months.  What a role model?  She is amazing and a lot to live up to, but totally worth all the effort. Such an amazing women for herself, her husband, her family but mostly for God.  I have felt so convicted that for the New Year I should be focused on changing myself for God.  Open myself up to becoming the women He wants me to be –  a Proverbs 31 Women.
     So, with that in mind, I have decide to dedicate my Monday Mama Moments for the month of January to: Becoming A Proverbs 31 Woman.  We have 5 Mondays in January to break down Proverbs Chapter 31 and truly study it.  Really look at how we can become that Proverbs 31 Women right now in 2012!

     Schedule Reading/Posts:

January 2nd   ~    Proverbs 31:10-14    {Describes her marriage and behavior}

     I have always learned so much more from Bible Studies when I was able to share my thoughts with others and in return hear theirs.  I would LOVE it if you would join me in studying this amazing women for the month of January.  Above is the reading schedule (read and study the verses then post about it on the assigned dates).  To help us all in sharing our thoughts with each other I have created a Link up for it.  So when you have finished reading each week you can link up your post about how it touched you – What did you get out of it?  What did God show YOU in his Word?  Not a blogger?  Not a problem!  Leave a comment with your thoughts on your reading and join us!
