Go Green and Get Clean®

Keeping chemicals out of my home and away from my precious kiddos is very important to me.  We switched our food over to organic a few years back.  Not a difficult change for us just a little more costly.  But switching our cleaning products proved to be a little more difficult!

I would have to say I think I’ve tried every “earth friendly” and “chemical free” cleaning product on the market.  I’ve even tried making my own from recipes I found on Pinterest – that just made my house smell like vinegar no matter what scent was added!  Um – no thanks!  Not to mention that it just never felt fully clean to me.

So I will admit when the opportunity came to me to review Shaklee’s Get Clean® Starter Kit I thought – eh, it’s worth a try!  Nice right?!  Well, I will admit I thought maybe it would work well because I am totally in love with their Shaklee 180™ Turnaround Kit so…  Maybe, just maybe, this would work!

So What Comes in the Get Clean® Starter Kit?

Are you ready for this?  It’s quite the list!

• Basic H²® Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate, 16 oz. (1)  –  You only need at most 2 drops per spray bottle – this will last you FOREVER!!!  Or really close to it!
• Germ Off Disinfecting Wipes, 35 Wipes (1)  –  Since my family is going through a fun flu time in our lives right now I have been using these on all of our door handles and anything else we are touching.
• Nature Bright® Laundry Booster and Stain Remover, 32 oz. (1)  –  Amazing!  With Roo and Boo being so young we are ALWAYS covered in something or other!
• Dish Wash Concentrate, 16 oz. (1)  –  Squeaky clean dishes!  On your super tough dishes just let soak for 10 minutes and it all comes right off!
• Dish Washer Automatic Concentrate, 32 oz. (1)  –  Our dish washer is horrible so I will tell you this is the best we have used in THIS dish washer.  So far no food or scum has been left behind (and that is saying a lot for us).
• Fresh Laundry Concentrate HE Compatible, Regular Scent  32 oz. (Liquid) (1) – I have a HE washing machine and only need to use 1 oz. of liquid at a time which means I will get 32 loads of laundry clean before I run out!
• Soft Fabric Dryer Sheets, 80 sheets (1)  –  I’ve never like dryer sheets.  Seriously, they always leave like a film on my clothes.  Not these!  They just leave your clothes soft and fluffy!
• Dish Washer Automatic Concentrate Dispenser (empty) (1)
• Nature Bright® Dispenser (empty) (1)

Did I tell you it was quite a list?!?  So seriously – I don’t think I will need cleaning supplies for at least 6 months!  Every thing is concentrate so you have complete control on how strong or diluted you want to use it.  Each item comes with a measuring guide for you so you don’t need to guess your way through it all.  So you will save money, trash in a landfill AND most importantly your health!  Plus – you can now put your kiddos to work cleaning the house at a younger age without worries!  lol
